Wikitedia tells me it means stinky onion - The name "Chicago" is the French version of the Miami-Illinois word shikaakwa ("Stinky Onion"), named for the plants common along the Chicago River.[2

It looks like a Chicago-style hot dog is a hot dog with peppers, pickles, tomatoes and onions piled on top .... which sounds quite stinky to me. So they are in touch with their inner alliums in that there Illinois.

Unless both facts are just made up, that is.

Yesterday, I started watching Season 1 of Lexx, a SF/Fantasy series that I can only describe as "Farscape meets Barbarella" . I've just finished watching the 3rd of three 1.5 hour episodes, and they're all very, very strange...

I think you need to apply rule 5, your only doing a tidy up! I'm redecorating one, taking it back to wood and plaster and decorating from scratch.
