I've got 2 cars parked outside. Which is odd because I don't own a car and I really don't like them. However, I have time and a clean licence so I get to be chauffeur.

I've been using an old traditional mop today with the tin oval shaped bucket with the hollow slatted bit for wringing the mop out. It is very satisfying and efficient. May your mops be with you.

How much does it cost to Oldham?
I just accidentally shrank a cotton shopping bag! I always walk to the shops and back and use a rucksack for large quantities of shopping but I have a cotton bag with shoulder-length straps which I normally use for smaller amounts of shopping. It was looking a bit grubby so I chucked it in the wash with my clothes this afternoon. I just took it out of the dryer and the straps are now armpit-length and the bag is now only big enough to hold about 1/3 of what it did before!

Bjayzuz Col what are ya gonna do?

WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO?

Manbag alert!
Ha!

I had a really handy simple 25 L rucksack which I used to use but I swapped it for a fancy 35 L one at my sister's house over Christmas so I could carry my stuff plus Christmas presents on the trip back.

The trouble is - the new one is a bit too bulky for carrying modest amounts of shopping and it has so many little zipped compartments and drawstrings that I forget how to get into it!

I'll ask sis to bring my old rucksack up with her next time she visits me, but I would like to hang on to the bigger one which is ideal for travelling. (I have a 50 L rucksack in storage should I ever need to carry silly amounts of stuff!)
