Mundane News (Part 1)

Height of mundaneness:

Kettle is all clean and shiny.
Oven hood is cleaned (requiring ladders and effort on my part)
Floor is cleaned and part polished.

On a happy note, the polishing dooberry is working well so far. Normally bits fly off and then I get
Edit/ when I say 'normally', that equates to about once every year and a half or so, when I can be bothered.....

We took our old sofa to the dump. We replaced it with the comfy chair from the spare bedroom. We hoovered and everything today. Height of mundanity.
