I thought the pears in the tree nearer the house might be ripe.

They sometimes come good a week or so earlier than this.

But no. Hard and raspy to the tongue.

Another five days perhaps.

Let us know when it starts raining inside. Rain outside is commonplace.

We had snow inside earlier this year. OH decided to fit the new Velux. After cutting a nice big hole in the roof it started snowing again. Snow drifts in the hallway!

That was Ivan tT a week after we got him. He spent Christmas on the beanbag eating wrapping paper.

No pears. They have never fruited properly yet. But the apples are ripe.

Have you given any further thought to not wasting time by sleeping. Just think of the things you'd get done if you never slept.
