Short ride? Norwich to York and back is a bit of a hack with a rucksack full of jam jars

If only you were closer to me or NT we'd deliver some. We got a load of spice jars for SatNavSaysStraightOn when she requested some on FoodChat.

We at work, would much rather jars were reused, than broken up and reprocessed. We also collect them for the volunteers to make jam from fruit that grows on the reserve.

I know you can, I've had it, in France. That was at a B and B where they everything at dinner and breakfast was made on the premises, from produce from the garden. There were eight types of jam at breakfast.

Seriously, it was an amazing place. 14thC Manor house, decorated in Fourposter bed and Suits of Armour style. Lovely host and hostess, and all the food (including the chicken) came from the garden, which looked like the sort of garden that ought to be dripping with Impressionist painters.
