It's sunny down here. High and hazy cold front clouds but no worse than breezy down on the ground. Mild. Good clothes drying weather for January.

As a telecoms technician, my experience tells me that if a customer tries to report a problem receiving faxes, it's because

a. someone like your solicitor has faxed the blank side of the page
b. the ink cartridge needs replaced.
c. someone has unplugged the fax machine
d. there is no paper in the fax machine.

Fax machines used to be the bane of my life and it's generally always user error but customers don't like to admit they've been stupid.

Someone spent a couple of hours fuming that their software update wasn't loading up on their laptop.... then discovered they hadn't plugged the network cable in....
