I must admit to worrying about the direction of this thread when it started.

I tend to use individual tools, I've got one of those puncture kits that are about 5x3x1 inch and all the allen keys, multi spanner and chain tool fit inside that along with a bit of kitchen roll that stops it rattling and is something to wipe any grease/gunk off my hands

I've accumulated a few multitools over the years. Notoriously difficult to buy presents for, my relatives seem to think something for the bike will always come in handy.
