Mudguards and rack

Difficult to tell from the pictures but appears to be just enough room to get the mudguard in there. Looks more like the guards are too narrow for the tyres so require increased height to prevent interference? What size tyres are they and how wide are the guards?

Think it just looks like that because the rack is pushing the guards down. They are wide mudguards for 38-47 and I'm running 38. They fit really well without the rack.
