I bought one a couple of years back and I've found it really good value for money but I don't use it enough to form a real opinion but I like it and its done everything I've asked of it so far.

Think I could be tempted with this then, it looks to have everything you need does it?

Tool kits have doubled in price - ok though for a selection of stuff - shimano-ish.
Sport glasses offer flexibility too - all cheap enough to try out before a bigger investment I suppose, although jerseys and other clothes seem to be the big savers - none next Thurs though.

Forget to add the chain tools crapped out on mine but as I have a few of them it wasn't too inconvenient. Now replaced.

Just looking at these, we get different offers over here in NI so i decided to check what we had on. It seems Lidl are doing a full racing bike:

here

all ultegra, seems a good bike. Just found it funny that LIDL are selling a "proper" bike

They say they are instore from Thursday, but my local Lidl has had them in for at least a couple of months now. Cycling shoes are too small though, so I can't get them. Got the pump and the backpack though.

They've got more stuff in than what's listed on their website cycling wise (at least in my store anyway). Pumps, waterbottles, fingerless cycling gloves, cycling socks, shirts (only womens left in my local one), bike hoist (for fixing to the wall I think), rear wheel bike stand (think that's £1.99) [Not the kickstand though, it's just to keep your bike upright I think], rucksacks, panniers, handlebar bags.

Plus they have some motorcycle stuff which may be good for cycling: overshoes, rain suit.
