Dropped The Panzer off at the garage for its service, now waiting at a station in the middle of nowhere for the once an hour train service into London that stops here.

The usual office fun awaits, but for now I'll soak up a few rays on the platform.

had a post-brekkie saunter in the sun, coffee, smidge of wfh, then i think a stroll for a bubbly and a bit of sartorial economy boosting is called for

C'mon Mr 🌞 I know you're hiding up there. It is forecasting to break through today then sunshiiiny for the rest of the week, hurrah. More garden fettling to be getting on with. Do I have a plan for this? Or just make it up as I get (slowly) along? Who can tell. Time for 100% pure Colombian #2 and get on with.

Sun's out now, finishing leisurely breakfast, then to saunter around Toppers to see the wisteria that's come into bloom in my absence, into town later to have last bit of disintegrating tooth removed, then three lessons to do to earn an artisanal crust.

Morning all. Not hiding just chillaxing. No work and sunny. Cleaning bike and kit up after the Reiver ready for next ride. 🤔 oh and recovering from the nasty little beasties that ate my legs without me realising. Shopping for new lightweight camping stove and possibly a new smaller chain ring that will play nicely with sram rival axs gravel BB. If such a thing. Was actually envious of people using eagle 10 to 50 cassettes at times, then someone would go by on and old school 12 to 25 or single speed bmx bike. Even spotted a Brompton gravel bike. As to the guy on the 3 wheel handbike, jesus the bloke was epic. Felt sorry his mate who was trying to keep up with him.

Morning
Hazy sunshine but warm enough for breakfast on the patio. Mrs W has opened here birthday cards and presents and apparently we are going to local brewery this afternoon. Which is odd as she doesn’t drink beer🤷🏼‍♂️. Might see if I can sneak a ride in before we go out.

Tail chasing, booked a slot at TF Tuned to resurrect the Heckler. Looking forward to that 😋
Packing later. Looking forward to that too, well, the bit after packing anyway.

Anyhow, bunked off early to collect The Panzer, may take the 'scenic' route back. Also just remembered there's free wine and nibbles at the annual Parish meeting which is stumbling distance from the house, might pop along late and miss the boring stuff.

Ach ye saft southern jessies dinnae ken fit weather is. Anyway Mr 🌞 is showing his face in The Homeland.

Fair bit of garden and greenhouse propagation done, the toms peppers cucumbers chillis et al are all pushing on now. Won't be too long before nom nom begins.

Nice chat with neighbours a few doors down, they showed me round their garden which they've converted from boring sloped grass (oh hello) to a colourful and interesting place. Lots of ideas gathered for The Plan, and I was given some excess plants to take home, more to follow. Lovely people.
