Morning.
Looks like another fine and dandy day.
Stoma nurse at some point this morning. Gotta pop into town at some point to get some new threads if going back to work in a week.
Awaiting courier for bass guitar and things. Tricky to juggle these when I don't have exact timings for either.
Might have to fill in the time by watching the saucy video on a loop.

Coffee. Snooze. Laters.

Feeling rather jaded after yesterday’s ride and then the evening in the pub. The walk home was a bit of staggering affair. Today might be a slow one.

Slept well after yesterday's ride, even if we were a bit slow. I blame those pesky hills.

Up too early for a Monday in the office, thereby avoiding me being a member of the well known 'Tuesdays Wednesdays And Thursdays' commuter club. Still torturing numbers until they tell me what I want to hear: if that doesn't work, I'll start on the minions. Time for a coffee...

You didn't make it home last night, or you're planning on another trip out.

Morning

Slept in again. Beans deposited a mouse on the bed with a trill at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep. Couldn't sort the world out either.

Today will be preparing Tricky's room for p&d. It's going Terracotta on 2 walls, white on the opposing one's. That's the easy bit. Shifting all her Lego incarnations will be the tedious bit.
'Terracotta' must be untrendy. Crown colour chart has at least 9 shades of what is new plant pot colour to old plant pot colour but none called 'Terracotta'.

Diluted Yoghurt - 5 parts water to 1 part Yoghurt to feed your Palm tree @Stevo 666 if you have to.

Meh. Admin stuff this morning. Some shopping tedium, and a brisk walk in a chilly wind. Not an exciting Monday at all.

Hellacold start to the day which included scraping the windscreen at 6am.
Been out on site erecting some steel to help the workshop along as fitters are on a training course today.
May do something energetic tonight, may just walk the pup instead.

Hanging about in the service centre while da mowtah gets its annual service this pm. Too incapacitated to take the bus into town for a stroll about in the sunshiiine.

Feeling a bit fatigued after managing three very slow outdoor rides of 80-200mins over the last three days for first time in months (maybe since long covid began in Oct '22), my legs haven't been the same since stupidly doing three hills totalling ~21mins at near max effort while on an eMTB, during a 120min ride nearly two weeks ago. That's long covid for you, it's like having a duff battery that doesn't reliably recharge properly.

On the plus side, after originally thinking about an ebike after last September's ebike hire that went nowhere until using that hire eMTB two weeks ago also at Longleat Center Parcs, I finally pulled the trigger on a bargain £1249 GT eGrade Bolt from Paul's Cycles.:hyper:Should mean I can manage to do regular routes up the hills around Old Winchester Hill again, albeit I need to be more sensible with my efforts compared to 26th March.

Sounds familiar! My mate and I stayed at the bbq after the wives left, cocktails went rather silly. We borrowed a mobility scooter to get home but it ran out of battery and we had to push it into a field.

Today has been lots of meetings, thankfully getting out of the next one as I’m off to the osteopath
