Sounds familiar! My mate and I stayed at the bbq after the wives left, cocktails went rather silly. We borrowed a mobility scooter to get home but it ran out of battery and we had to push it into a field.

Today has been lots of meetings, thankfully getting out of the next one as I’m off to the osteopath

Made it to the French house, as you'll gather sooner or later from le spam I'll be posting. Feeling pretty rubbish after the journey and bouncy heart last night. Cutting out the proper coffee for décaf to try to help. Hope for a zonk-out tonight.

Anyway, I've fessed up to my French correspondents, as they'll be wondering why my athletic efforts are going to be so limited and on a 'lecky bike. 5000 middle-aged women will be spamming that thread, concerned for my health, heart, and calves. Still, I should get them a bit of a tan to cheer them up if the weather stays as it is.

Evening folks,
Early start for the drive up to Witney, could have done with more than 5 hours kip. Finished work and went for a walk in the country as it was a nice evening. Managed a little over 4 miles and now in a pub waiting for my venison pie.
Just replied to Brian's post on Bluesky to confuse him, hope he doesn't think I'm an elderly french woman 🤣
