How much does it cost to Oldham?
Absent friends eh.

Raise a toast, recall the good times. You'd want them to do the same if it was you...

Strange, just 2 hours ago I was thinking of someone I lost 21 years ago this month. Still, the memories were fond and she remains as long as I remember her.

Death is weird. It happens to us all, and there is no telling when. It affects those left behind, yet those who have gone do not want it to be painful.

It can still hurt like hell.

It gets less painful and fonder over time. Never painless.

Like being stabbed. The scar is there, and sometimes you get odd aching pains, but the agony diminishes.

Like everyone, I have memories so painful I avoid them.

It is, comes in waves when you least expect, but it does turn to fond memories and less pain.

I was told I was mad for having my brother's funeral on my 25th birthday. I decided that fate had a hand in it and now every birthday I remember my brother while I am happy and celebrating. It helped to build up the good memories and lessen the painful ones.
