Talk about making yourselves targets though!

I thought about the motivation of using the new framesets. I still don't think Cav will quite do it. Although he sat up in a couple of Tirreno sprints sort of like in the early stages of last year's Tour. Similar thing?

I quite fancy Hushovd for some reason though I'd be happy to see Freire or Evans to win. Although if people get organised a Gilbert, Pozzato, EBH + other similar type riders might get away on the Poggio - with enough teams represented it might be hard for one team alone to chase them down.

Anyway, in summary, I'm going for Hushovd.

Evans has as much chance of winning as me, cos he's watching on the tv too!

If Haussler and Hushovd are there at the end then I think it will be Haussler as no,1 for garmin, then Farrar for Flanders and Hushovd for Roubaix.

Two from three highly possible. The Ronde is a hard man's race, I can't see Farrar delivering there, specially if it's a bit chilly and/or wet, in other words a typical Belgian spring day!

This is agony! M-SR, plus 6 nations - or - get out and enjoy the beautiful weather?

I think the weather wins it. I can always watch the sport later on-demand. You can't always get the weather like this on-demand.

I'm out of here. Enjoy the race, you lot!

Surely it's a very easy decision. Ride this morning. Watch MSR this afternoon (possibly on the internet in the garden). Forget about the 'look at me I can kick I can' rugby yawn-ion.

Although Cav hasn't really hit form yet this season, the HTC team are looking strong generally. If Renshaw, Goss and Cav can all get through the 298km unscathed, then I'm not sure I'd bet against this team this year.

So much for my prediction - all the HTC boys are off the pace of the front group with 50k to go.

There was a crash and the peloton got split into two biggish groups and Cav, Hushovd and Freire were in the second group. One of the most exciting and unpredictable races I've ever watched.

Flippin heck. Starts off as a singer in a twin-boy-band band, and then wins a prestigious race in Italy! When will I be famous? Right now, Matty, boy, right now!
