If I was going to fall over, Id rather do it walking than cycling at 15 mph. Again just my opinion.

15mph is 50-125% over the design limit of a cycle helmet depending on which standard it is designed to. Would you do a bungee jump on a rope that was being used 50-125% over its design limit?

I never said walking was more dangerous?
You have evidence that cycling is more dangerous per Km than walking?

Whats a helmet got to do with it?

You said you would prefer to have an accident when walking rather than cycling. If you prefer to have an accident with less Ke, woudn't you want to be wearing something that may absorb that Ke without cracking?

You prefer to use "fall over" rather than accident? Is there a chance you would fall over deliberately?
The reason I said that was it was just a matter of time and you would be trying to twist what has been said, and including all sorts of "accident" scenarios . I know its hard for you to understand, but its simple really. A slow fall is in my opinion , less likely to be as serious as a very fast fall. Is there a chance you could have a very very fast fall, soon?^_^

German research into pedestrian-cyclist fatal collisions found it was the pedestrian that died because they fell like a bag of spuds, hitting their head with fatal results while the cyclist had tucked, slid and rolled coming off very lightly. So indications are again the opposite of your beliefs.
