....good point Noodley....It's maybe that I don't cycle far enough to need to stop for provisions.....have no problem sitting outside a boozer's in cycle kit though !!!!!!!....

I tried going around the supermarket in cycling kit on my recent tour. Put all the panniers in a trolley, and then went around the aisles. The hardest thing is getting around ont he supermarket floor with SPD shoes on. I was sliding around all over the place, but the trolley behaved itself.

.....if you could get 'clip in' wheeled attachments for cycling shoes (like the kid's wheelies)....then you could whizz around the aisles....(helmet on of course..!!!!)......
