Me tooth fell oot!

At the moment, I'm toying with the idea of not getting the tooth done, and making a new career for myself as a Shane McGowan looky-likey....
I could even substitute for the shambling poet, and guarantee to turn up for interviews, etc.... (hic)

Nee lad, it wor one of me front'uns*... got a temp croon in, and go back in 2 weeks for the proper work.... they gave me an estimate(!!!!!) of 500 squiddlies, up from the 400 they said over the phone.....
she also said my teeth were otherwise in pretty good nick, given that it's a decade since I paid a visit to the dentist

*btw, despite the geordie-isms, I have a rather "cockerney" accent in real life! I divven't come from roond these parts originally, but it is the best place in the UK to live!!!!!!!!

I assume cos you havnt been to a dentist in 10 years, you were'nt registered.

I broke a tooth while working in Cyprus last year...lovely real Cypriot food, but it packed an extra punch
Put up with it for a year....no dentist, eventually went to the local dental drop in centre. They sorted it for me (extraction that wasnt too bad reay)...cost £27 ish, and they registered me with a NHS dentist. Result.

When I was 14, I hit me mooth on the bottom of a swimming pool, and me tooth got broke. Had some kind of false thing added which lasted till 1991..... then got a falsie (porcelain, held to me skull with gold posts, no less) which lasted till.... the neet! Dont talk to me about teeth - ive only got 6 in my upper mouth.

It was tombstones but now the sado (dentist) 'cleaned' the area up and as I havent the money for implants £10,000 at the last estimation I had to put 'in' the plastic rather than on the plastic


My 'oral' () problems started when i came down heavy on my mouth (helmets dont work so well if you squarely hit your face-face down on the tarmac) cycling to work when i was 18yrs..whacked the mouth up big time then had a bridge and ever since had problems esp. when i hit 30yrs..

But now they're 'ok'.

I heard that people used to go to Hungary and elsewhere to get dentistry done on the cheap. Don't know if it still happens.
