Hi again!
Looking to buy these wheels for a bike i'm putting together, is there any difference between them? I mean, they seem to be roughly the same price at the moment although, obviously, one set is so last year! Is it a case that the 2010 versions will drop in price anytime soon or are they just the same wheels?

Cheers for any help!

From what I can gather the rims are 40g lighter - 20g shaved off each one - and the decals (which slow you down) have changed. I don't think you would notice the difference.

You can get a pair of 2010's for £720 here.

BTW - the Carbones are a great wheel (very well built) but I'd only recommend them for time trials or use on flatish roads..

the decals have clearly changed.

deep section carbon rims of this nature do make you look like a knob if you're not TTing (or warming up for a TT) at the time of use! Although, I and everyone else who thinks this are probably just jealous because we can't afford them

So I got today my Cosmic SL and I went to first ride. Don't know what to say beside they felt heavy comparing my Zipp 404 tubular when I mounted them on my bike but when I went out with them, they were fast, faster as I thought and hope they will be. In fact I did my best result with them, I was much faster on the same route than with my 404. I went two circles under the 8 minutes while I never succeeded to go below the 8 minutes when any wheelset I had. What does it say about the Zipp which weight about 500gr less with Conti tubs? Does it make sense? Do I need to let go of the Zipp or send hem to Zipp for inspection and service maybe..,? Its true I didn't went any hills yet with the CC SL but I have the feeling that I'll do Richmond Park with quite A hilly terrain faster with them as well.
