It is well documented that people either love Marmite or they hate it, I am in the former camp'
I was in England over Christmas and I bought a jar (I can't get it here) when it came time to leave I realised after locking my suitcase and piling it into the car that my Marmite was in a kitchen cupboard I rushed back and put it in my carry on. At the airport (Heathrow) I was pulled aside to explain something in my bag - the Marmite that was confiscated. I am aware of the rules but I had forgotten about the Marmite but I was just wondering how much harm I could do? If I forced it on fellow plane passengers who hate it would I qualify as a terrorist?

Toast a crumpet add Marmite and cheese .Pop under grill till cheese melts.

That does look rather nice!, the fat from the cheese soaked into the crumpet (yummy!).

The Lidl sauce makes a stonking chilli though, as would the Luchito by the sounds of it. I'll have to look out for that.

A Kiwi friend of mine once tried to tell me that Vegemite was nicer than Marmite. Hilarious.

I've just received a kilo of dried chipotles, chop them up and put them in most things!.

The chipotles in new bag are significantly hotter than last years batch, maybe why Lidls sauce is hotter?.

Peanut butter and jam stripes is good. Peanut butter with chocolate spread stripes is even better. Peanut butter with Marmite stripes - no, I can't get my head around that one. I like both peanut butter and Marmite, but *not* at the same time...
