I love the stuff however after dropping only a small jar on my foot resulting in fracturing my toe and no damage whatsoever to the jar. I can see where the authorities would assume it could be used as a weapon. Dropped a few jars tbh and they must be made of weapons grade glass.

Obviously the border guards aren't born and bred in the UK, and this is a sensible use of immigrant workers, otherwise they would be drawn to the overwhelming perfume of the food of the gods. You'd be cruel to use sniffer dogs for this, they'd get addicted. Maybe chemical "sniffer" tests need to be used to ensure the welfare of our border guards, to allow them to continue working without the olfactory orgasm that is Marmite
