Looks a good route for early season and a good price. I ride those roads all the time.

2011 Season is now out for me for any Sportives (well maybe until September) as my shoulder is being operated on in March or earlier....23rd March being the latest)......

Fossyant- Sorry to hear about the shoulder. The price is as low as I can make it. Its fully timed and ALL food and drink is included plus much more..................... The website is going live any day now. I am having to hold it back due to some more people coming on board.

Sorry, I'm going to have to drop out of the ride on December 11th (Saturday)
Mid-January would be very possible if you were interested in trying it out then, Al?

Noon................ flipping student, we'd be half way/on way home by then.

Signature climb on a 60 miler in Cheshire...... you have a few. Wizzard (not hard just a slog), Swiss Hill - only tricky as it's cobbled so a swine on a wet winter's morning as it's slippy, or if being cheeky, some hills near Macc Forrest etc. Who knows.

Where is this Wizzard you speak off???? Sounds like fun.

Ohh Wizzard is easy...(10%) it's Swiss Hill you really want. I've done Wizzard on 74" fixed................only reason, met up with a guy, by accident, from my village who was on single speed.......... same route we were doing........... he had 63" SS............git............. I got up..just...

Wizzard - ride from North (Wilmslow end) through Alderley Edge Village, get to end of shops, and there is a couple of roads on the left, the second goes uphill - take that - it's the Wizard. Take the first, and it's flat, look out within first half mile and you'll see a cobbled hill (road signed Swiss Hill on Wall - far right....)...........

Great thanks, I think I must have ridden down the end of it after doing Swiss Hill.

Something for the Christmas break I think, if the weather holds ;-)

There are temp lights on the Wizard at the moment around the junction with Trafford Rd. Good test of the brakes when you are coming down at 40
