Overall I thought the ride was good. A few 'undulations' but mostly very flat. The wind was horrendous though but hey, that's cycling.
Passed one incident early on where a man looked pretty banged up in the middle of the road and then the lorry/car incident. Not nice to see things like that.
I echo the comments regarding cyclists all over the road. Two abreast at a max and if you overtake another rider, pull over to the left hand side of the road. It's not hard.
I was going for a quick time and it was nice to ride with others who seemingly was wanting to do the same. Drafting each other and taking turns on the front. There was one guy however kitted out in fully Sky including Dogma who was a bit of a tit. Sat in my wheel for ages only to sprint off before slowing down to then sit in my wheel for miles on end before... yep... you guessed it. Became increasingly frustrating so I told him bluntly to do his turns on the front. To which he replied "We've still got 60 miles left yet."
I know you're not obliged to take a turn on the front but he was clearly a stronger rider than myself so it wasn't as if he couldn't. Just tarnished the experiance for me a little.
