He's a top man in my book. There'll be a film on this in the future, I'd offer it to James McAvoy, and a best-selling book of his intrepid adventures all too rare in this day and age. It's cheered more people up than there are po-faced scowlers to sit there tutting.

Perhaps the pople he cheered up could cover the cost of the policing, his imprisonment, and the search and rescue operation he kicked off?

Mr Bean would be a more appropriate choice to play him in a film adaption. Quite apt as hes lost his job, had his car and trailer impounded, had his jetski seized with 3 weeks of storage charges to cover, and still never actually got his leg over.
