I still enjoy a Peek Freans Trotsky Assortment with a cup of tea.
Heh. I happened to be driving in Stoke Newington today and a small bit of Sayle popped unbidden into my head: "I'm a gossip columnist for 'What's On in Stoke Newington'. You might have seen it. It's a big piece of paper with "fark all" written on it."

I suppose I would be a MALIT, a middle aged lady in trousers.

Sweary Man is Genius from the Alexei Sayle Pirate Video, the last video of 6 on YT it was an encore, I have met so many Londoner talking like that. The Loverly - Bollocks part sticks with me now I had forgotten where it came from me and my mate would be doing it all the time Light and Bitter - Lurvely - Florida - Bollocks. His humour has aged quite well I spent a good hour on you tube laughing inspired by this thread, and honestly I don't find TV comedy that funny normally.

Dunno if you're a fan of Alexei Sayle or not (I am)
In his "Imaginary Sandwich Bar" radio series (both series avail to listen to here) he talks a wee bit in one of the progs about his love of cycling.
He makes sure the audience knows what a MAMIL is, then describes himself as a PUFFIN
Pathetic Unfit Fat F*ck*er In Nappies (the latter referring to padding in shorts)

Made me laugh, anyway!
Many thanks for the link. Excellent!

You say both series. I can only find the one series with eight episodes. Am i missing something?
