I think I've been stiffed up. I bought some new Look Keo pedals to replace mine and I've inadvertently bought Look Keo Easy pedals with cleats. It seems that the cleats are now unavailable/discontinued which means that the new pedals will be obsolete when the cleats that came with them wear out.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Return them under the seven day distant selling regulations and get a full refund?

Those cleats came with rubber covers which you slipped on (no pun intended!) over the cleat to walk in.

Without these shoes they wore down really quickly and were very slippy so Look came up with Keo Grip.

Keo Grip are exactly the same except they ditched the shoes and now have some little bits of "hard wearing" material glued to the bottom of the cleat. These wear away after a couple of walks and you are left with a cleat like you have.

So the cleats will work with the pedals - just be wary when walking on smooth surfaces.

here's the new Keo Grip with the additional grippy material

BTW - don't confuse Look ARC cleats with Look Keo cleats. Look Keo cleats always have a curved shoulder leading to the front and ARC cleats have a straight shoulder.

The Keo Delta cleats I have from the old pedals won't fit the new pedals. I'm now wondering if new Keo cleats will fit both my old and new pedals and that the old style cleats are the problem. I'll enquire at the LBS.

My old Look cleats will definitely not fit the new pedals as they're the best part of a centimetre longer.

You have Keo pedals. These require Keo cleats. Its as simple as that.

Older Look pedals required Delta cleats. The two types of cleats are not interchangeable. No such thing as Keo Delta cleats AFAIK. They're either Keo cleats or Delta cleats.

They do kinda fit...as i found out rushing around one day and got my old bike out with Delta pedals...while wearing my Keo shod shoes.
Oooer...sod it...too late. But they did kind of engage, they do allow you to ride, but i wouldnt want to get out of the saddle etc.
