Nosaj - if you're going to use the front light very rarely try the five quid jobby shown on the blog. It's really very bright. If you're not happy with it, use it as your back-up light.

I think the brightest rear lights is one of the Dinotte lights. If those are tilted down, then you get a magnificent red glow on the tarmac. But agreed, you don't want a mega bright light on the FNRttC unless you're sat permanently at the back. In the middle of a group, it's not a good thing.
