I have always liked Levis. Good for fixing the motorbike in, digging the garden and then wear the same pair to go to the pub in. They are tough and last a long time. Isnt that what jeans are supposed to do?
This is why i'm reluctant to sit down on pub chairs/bar stools. A very, very scruffy type drinks in my local pub. He has the audacity to wear an oily boiler suit in the place!🧐 The last time i was in there i could smell engine oil and filth as he passed!🧐 I shudder to think of the muck coming off those disgusting rags touching my fine tweeds!!🧐

Men over 30(ish) wearing ripped jeans just isn't right.:stop: I've never been a 'scruffy jeans' type, apart from when i was younger and maybe couldn't afford a new pair, but i've never bought ripped torn ones. Even worse than rips and tears is when they wear them too long with the bottom dragging on the floor and getting all mucky!🧐

Edit...Just thought of another one. When they have the arse bit nearly down to the knee!

The only pairs of ripped levis I have are the ones I use for bike fettling - spectacularly ripped they are so old - most of groin gone and parts of legs - I wear black shorts under them to spare the neighbours when I'm out front with the grease.

I've been told by those who present men's clothes and grooming videos that denim shorts are 'naff'. I have a pair. Like my only pair of jeans they are made by Next and good quality. They are indigo denim and quite smart yet casual. Why they are classed as naff i don't know. Cut off jeans with frayed bits yes,but nice tidy ones...i think they've got it wrong!
