Used 'classic' clothing can definitely go for silly money on ebay... A friend of mine bought a leather motorcycling bomber jacket in the 1970s and used it for decades. He eventually sold the 'well-worn' item to an enthusiast in Japan who paid him at least the original price. (It may even have been more, I can't remember.)

Luckily still the same size but just accumulated so much stuff over time. Huge downsizing in progress.

Yes, I tell myself that.... it is just that I cannot breathe in, and hold my breath for more than a couple of minutes ;)

When I lived in Newcastle I had a pair of Geordie jeans. They were nice and tight, especially round the arse.

Ahh yes... they are (or were) legendary ;)

I've been wearing Levi 501 Red Tabs for as long as I can remember. They get worn until there are holes in each knee and patches of glue or grease over the rest of them. Even a dedicated style victim is unlikely to offer me good money for my cast-offs.

I have one pair that I still wear occasionally that I wore at school. I left school in 79! Granted they are mainly patches on patches for the most though. Waistband, fly and the back of the legs good. Not very blue anymore and a bit fragile in places. Approaching Trigger's broom territory.

The retro clothing shop i work in sells old Levi's,Wrangles,Lee jeans etc. They sell for around 20-30 pounds. They're ok,but i'm a bit fussy about wearing someone's else's clothes, unless i know them and even them i'm still a bit unsure.

Edit....I'll wear jackets from the shop, but pants and shoes.......🤔
