How high do people out there put the tops of their leg warmers? I ask as I rode in this morning and must have had them too high as the insides of my legs are red raw!

I could be following her fine example - my legs won't take another battering like the one they got this morning.Have a look at Norah Battys
No! The seam was on the outside of the leg. Dread to think of the damage a seam would have caused! You should be able to pull the leg warmers all the way up until they rub against the pad of your shorts without issues. You didn't do something silly like have a non-flat seam running up the inside of your leg did you?
Sounds like this is possible - will lower them to just above the short grip strips next ride out. CheersRubbing on the saddle? That's too high, you may have experienced leg warmer/pad interference. This is where the pad grabs the leg warmer & moves it about, a lot.
I had to stop doing that - I found getting the fluorescent faux fur from the leg warmers out of the chain mechs was a nightmare!!did you start doing star jumps and shouting FAME -WHO WANT TO LIVE FOREVER if you did then theres a price to pay![]()
