It's perfectly possible to build something so that it can't be dissassembled non-destructively. Gluing, riveting, welding, swaging all spring to mind.

Well obviously - but which parts of a freehub are glued or welded together as part of the assembly process?

Have you ever tried taken a Dyson hoover apart they must be grown organically. :popcorn:

No I haven't. Maybe they are built by aliens, or with the use of magic?

Maybe none, but it illustrates the principle that not everything comes apart and can be put together again.

Indeed. Which is why I didn't actually say that ;)
This was to me reading like a general statement
If it has been assembled from component parts by a human being, it can also be disassembled.
and as I pointed out with the example of my mech, there are bike components which are designed not to be taken apart.

Anyway, and more importantly, I've now got in my head the image of a beautiful freehub orchard.
