This was to me reading like a general statement

If it has been assembled from component parts by a human being, it can also be disassembled.

and as I pointed out with the example of my mech, there are bike components which are designed not to be taken apart.

Anyway, and more importantly, I've now got in my head the image of a beautiful freehub orchard.
