Degenkolb seems to have gone off the boil after the Vuelta. He came in third behind Adam Blythe the other day IIRC.
He's probably knackered, he's done pretty well this season and he's still young...

Of course, I wasn't suggesting anything else! He's probably knackered, he's done pretty well this season and he's still young...
Dunno either but I'm guessing it will be the ones who draw the short straw. I'm also guessing Sky will send the riders who haven't done agreat deal in the bigger tours and the ones who are getting the heave-ho this year. I could of course be completely wrong but Lofquist and Nordhaug spring to mind.I haven't read much about the Tour of Beijing which I think it is going to be on Eurosport next week. Is it likely to be of interest, or will it be just a boring procession of unknown riders who couldn't get out of being sent over there to keep the UCI happy?
I'll give it a go! I'm still stuck indoors most of the time so I might as well watch the last big-(gish) race of the season.Well, I was wrong - poor EBH has drawn the short straw with a team of youngsters starting one short due to Ben Swift's wihdrawal.
Dowsett, Rowe, Puccio, Sutton.
But he looks a bit older :Another Colombian win, this time for Nairo Quintana in the Giro dell'Emilia. He's had an excellent season and still only 22.
