Very pleased for Purito - and another good result for Sky's two Colombians, Uran in 3rd and Henao in 5th.

somehow I thought you might be mention this!

Amazing wheely - altho' to do it properly he should have gone clipless~!!
Gives me the fear!! Trying to pull a wheely on a road bike whilst clipped in. Shudder.
Can do a decent wheely on a mountain bike or a bmx, unclipped, but what that guy just done was seriously impressive. Major kudos.

i could tip him to win... then he definitely won't

Griepel meant that Roelandts will win it, not Greipel. I hope that's clear! I think that Greipel may be being modest or diverting attention from himself though, because Paris-Tours is really a sprinter's race.

Very pleased to see Blythe get a win.

Oh, and Roelandts broke his collarbone crashing in the same race, so I guess Laurence's bet really put the kiss of death on his chances in the Paris-Tours after all. That's the end of his season!

Two races today - the first was Paris-Bourges, in which Breton rider, Florian Vachon, scored a great win over supposedly much faster finishers, Bouhanni and Degenkolb.

The second was the Coppa Sabbatini, which saw a Colombian 1-2 for Fabio Duarte and Miguel Rubiano on an uphill finish. Lots of joy for the Colombians in the late season, and in fact both have had good seasons and should be attracting World Tour teams looking for strong climbers who can score stage wins on GCs as well as one-day races.

Degenkolb seems to have gone off the boil after the Vuelta. He came in third behind Adam Blythe the other day IIRC.
