Kitting out from the beginning

Welcome to the slippery slope of penury caused by buying cycling kit, pretty soon you'll have a cupboard full of cycling clothing and no room for all your bikes:laugh::rolleyes:

On a more serious note take advantage of any offers around especially places selling last years kit off and buy anything a bit smaller than you think otherwise you may be left with a collection of baggy kit.Keep an eye on sites like Planet X and Castelli cafes' outlet and of course the 'bargain' thread on here.

Maybe women want to learn how to do mechanical stuff with other women, and not blokes. Certainly would appeal to me  Like cycling with other women and not blokes, swimming, all sorts

Why do you want to do a women's only maintenance class then or cycle with women...can't you mix it with the boys? ;)

Don't buy cheap, poor quality tools. They will break and damage your bike/you.

I notice Mountain Warehouse sell clothing that looks suitable, any experience on how good it is?
