Slightly off topic but I've just eaten cabbage that was 'hand cut in the field' according to Somerfield. Tasted much better than the machine cut rubbish I've been used to.

That special flavour from "hand-cut" product is usually attributed to the lack of sanitary conditions in Fenland fields other than a ditch and a dock leaf...
Posh people fall for it all the time...
