This darling fashion accessory is a knit hat modeled after Carrie Fisher's bun hairdo from Episode IV: A New Hope, or for those of us old enough to know better, Star Wars. Created by Etsy artist ansleybleu, she is only selling the pattern and not the finished item -- but hey, if you have a grandma or auntie that loves to knit you stuff that you don't wear, here's something to get her to make for you, right?

How do you all keep your ears warm in winter, please? I've seen someone cycling with ear muffs on, but I tend to like to have all my senses available. Is a cycle cap the best idea, or does anyone have a better solution, please? I quite fancy a balaclava when it gets as cold as today!

I wear a Gore skull cap and when its really perishing I sport a balaclava
