Just received my new Claris brifters

I fitted these last weekend and very pleased with them after a weeks commuting. Not a very difficult job. I am not too pleased with the my bar tape effort, so will re-do this after the winter.
The job would have been considerably easier with a long allen key.

Yes I snapped the tape.

Taping comes with practise, though I start from the stem end and tuck in the bar ends, saves having to use tape to secure it.

Its how I learnt as a kid, though it seems its easier for people to do it the other way these days.

I wrap from the ends and secure with twine at the stem, as in the ancient of days.
