very nice! looks like a bargain for £175 how does she ride?

as for the stem ALL road bikes have it pointing down but if you prefer it pointing up ride/comfort wise then don't change it but maybe flip it to see which way up you prefer after all it doesn't take 5 minutes to flip a stem with the right allen key

Hi ed it rides brilliant prefer the ride to my boardman team carbon yea I'm aware off the stem I'm to to flexible yet due to operations last year so I'm working hard on the core, the stem is a slightly lower ride than the original I did have it flipped I may go for a flat stem if I can find one!!

currently un-available but i know with the machinery and a strong black cuppa coffee i could make something like this so have a kind word with the local engineering firm

I'm not sure a BMX stem will work on a road bike.
