is it wrong to be posting on cycle chat from a blackberry?

It's better than those self-important twats on the bus who browse their confidential business email in full view of the two passengers sitting on the raise seat behind them.

I'm tempted to take a snap of the email contents next time and notify their employer about the data protection issues of waving confidential data under the noses of Joe Public.... ;)

blush! Anyone seen my loofah?

My SiL brings hers out (Blackberry) at every possible occasion and flashes it around.... what I really hate though is the "This email was sent from a Blackberry" message that gets attached......

We always wind her up by adding a signature that reads "This message was not sent from an overrated and overpriced gadget" on the bottom of ours - she hates it.

My wife seems to permanently attached to her office by the bloody thing. Thankfully, my office do not provide them.

As for whether it is correct, I cannot see a problem.

On a related note (I'm out of the bath now) I was asked recently to check work emails later one particular evening for "news" on a specific thingy going on at work. My reply was along the lines of... you pay for my internet access, and I'll check it...
I'm on slightly dodgy ground, as work does pay for my copy of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Powerpoint, Excel) but it felt mighty good telling them not to expect work to intrude into my private life. Work is work. When I'm not there, it can f*kc off ;)

We've been given a Blackberry - It is switched on at 8.30am in the office, and off at 5.00pm - and stays in my rucksack until the next time it's in work. I'll respond to emails when on other sites, but not on the bus etc. - just asking for getting mugged.

I did have my own T-Mobile MDA for a while - that was a cool gadget, high speed surfing and stuff, still got it, but it's a brick - much prefer my basic Sony Ericsson K770 - small and slim.

I have colleagues who use it at 11pm etc.... ;)
