I'm always baffled when I see characters on tele (like Dr House) whose stubble seems to be perpetually at the same state of growth. There must be a new kind of razor.
There is, I noticed one at the supermarket, or at least it's got a cool dude setting. From the packaging looks like it's aimed at young people like the gels for the 'just got out of bed' look (break the mould with your spikey hair, like everyone else).

I must admit I hate the pasty look you have when you've just shaved after having stubble for several days. I'd use the clippers for my face but seems like a lot of wear and tear on the blades when razors are perfectly good enough.

That's good going. I manage around 10 days before I start to feel itchy and have to lather up and get the razor out.

I go around 7 days purely because I can't be bothered with shaving every day

Hate shaving. Have done since I started. Just shave now as I see fit. If I've got important meetings etc...can go 2 to 10 days depending on how I feel. I'm thin on top and have a shaved head so can get away with a bit of growth. couldn't before with longer hair.

What about grey stubble. Is that in fashion?

absolutely!

I don't shave. It's silly. I wind up looking like a porcupine. Far better to go to the barbers once a week, take a few cans of Guinness, watch TV on some German station and talk about football with people who really care about it.

Was it ever in fashion to now be back??

I have gone for the last 20 years as a bit of a beardy of some sort. At the moment it is kept short and trimmed about twice a week. I hate it long and itchy.

Glad to know I am trendy at last. Grey bits are taking over.
