Currently I am the leader of CC Ecosse on MCL, and 2nd in the CycleChat league ... it won't last very long ...
It's blowing a gale and raining, but not hard enough to test the new overshoes that Santa brought me properly ...

The Edinburgh New Year's triathlon is about to start at the Commie Pool, with the wind due to pick up some more (yellow warning, 50+ mph gusts) ... will be watching from the comfort of our window seat, good luck to them going round Arthur's Seat in these conditions!

Just overtaken you with my morning 70k - I also bagged almost all the 2015 KOM's for the route I was on, no surprise as I was the only one out! http://www.strava.com/activities/235219263

Well done ANYONE who has been out cycling today! I refuse to even walk out the door in that weather - heavy rain and gales here means I'm confined to barracks. Hope the TV is good; for now it's good sounds from The Arrow on Sky 0146 .

@Telemark @Fubar Didnae have spare gear and didn't fancy packing wet stuff in the car I added about 2inches to MCL but I thought the turbore would be a better option ;-) I might just go back to keeping my own log MCL is up and down all the time

Surely they didn't go ahead with the cycling around Arthur's Seat ? I've just been out walking round the top of the T wood at Swanston and could barely keep upright at times.
