You'll have noticed that the blue on Saint Andrews Saltaire is now the same(legally) as that on Yorkshire's Flag, Pantone 300!Your not getting political are you?

There was never any suggestion that a flag of a different colour be taken ... Mr Reid's point about the blue of the saltire being like the skyI'll give you your due, your a trier.

My faith in the BBC has just been slightly restored. Presenter in Edinburgh talking about tonights Hogmanay party was referring to "Auld Lang Syne" and he actually pronounced it correctly! Syne; like sign, not Zyne as is done by an annoying number of people (mainly from a place starting with Inger and ending with lund
