Glad you made it over safely !Realised this morning it was exactly one year since my last fixed gear ride, that finished in a smashed up arm. Riding over the bridge I crashed on this morning was a bit strange.

Codsarnit. I'm sportiving that weekend. Last year was absolutely epic.It will be, though a week earlier (18-19th September)
Congratulations again!Well for those of you not on Facebook or don't already know I took Vicky away to skye this weekend, took her to the fairy pools and proposed, she thankfully said yes so we are now engaged thinking about next August as a potential date but more likely 2017
How is that a downside???Some kinda cycling needs to happen Skye blew my mind and would be a great place to cycle, the only downside is a good portion of the roads are single track or narrow
Congratulations again!

Can't say that it's ever remotely been an issue in all my experiences of the north and outlying regions. Usually single-track roads have good sight lines and as they're usually quiet roads you can hear cars far off. If a blind corner/summit then always act as if something will come haring round too fast and you can't go wrongSome cars fly along the single track roads and you can't always see what's round the corner

If you start doing more cycling than your commute again, we have loads of roads like that locally
