Only if you add an additional memory card. With the standard internal 16gb this does not work.Mine was gingerbread, (stupid name!), and teh battery was, as I say, appalingly bad, go figure.

Um nope? my samsung i9000 (galaxy S) allows me to plug it into usb and transfer away, no external card required just a setting on the usb option from kies to mass storage when you plug it in.

Happy days  Perhaps the Galaxy S is different from the S2 I had in that respect, but I can only go off what I was told by Samsung customer services, the staff at 3, and the fact no matter what I did with the Galaxy S2 I could not drag and drop what so ever, perhaps it was faulty, it certainly felt faulty

These threads will always be like helmet debates imo. Some people like Android and hate iPhone, some people lke iPhones and don't like others. It will always be the same. I honestly think a lot of anti-appleites jump on the hate bandwagon simply because of their cost, whereas cost is not an issue with Android phones so perhaps the reasons for dis-liking them are more realistic reasons, I don't know?
...

I am decidedly anti apple, but it has nothing to do with cost. Many 'droids are a similiar contract price to the iPhones anyway. I just don't like having my choices taken away from me.

There was a couple of apps on the appstore that allowed you to do a wireless survey, but Apple decided it was bad, so removed them. I like some things made using Adobe Flash, but Apple decided I wouldn't, so stopped it from working.

It put me right off. I pay, it should be my choice what I use their products for, not theirs.
(I can't dispute that they are good at what at they do and some people do better with less choice).

You can also use ATK to kill ATK....

I know. I think I notice ATK because I don't use my phone as much as I used to. It's now just a PIM and a phone with maybe 10 mins of games playing per day. If you're using your phone all the time for music, browsing etc then ATK's battery usage probably fades into the background.

Three pages of this shoot in less than 48 hours?

Words fail me. Or, rather, they don't, but the ones I'm thinking of will all come out bowdlerised, so they might as well.

I'm not going to bother to read the rest of this thread, so someone may have said it already.
The iPhone 5 will more than likely be out later on this year. So not much point upgrading to an iPhone 4 if a new one is just around the corner.

I have a Motorola Milestone and the limitted amount of internal memory really lets it down. Yes, it has an SD card but as far as I can tell you can't install applications on the SD card.

Initially I configured all my email folders to reside on the SD card, but the email application (Touchdown) just became very slow and ended up corrupting the SD card.
