The s2/iPhone4 comparisons put it above Ukd apple for battery life.
Mine must have been faulty then as my 2 year old iPhone still has better battery life than the S2 ever did, but my main big bug bear was Android, I just didn't like it - simple as that.

If you like it and are used to it then your halfway there. Each to their own

The S, S2 and Ace will cease being available in the next few weeks.

Are Crapple panicked because it's a rip-off, or a better phone?

Only those who think the emperor's new clothes are wonderful will have trouble with that question.

The Galaxy Tab is everything that the ipad isn't and they tried to block that as well.

Each to their own

That's one of the few comebacks left for the iCrowd today. I read a biased iFellforit v s2 comparison yesterday and that was the conclusion, after a list of ways in which the Samsung was better. The reviewer even claimed that the cryPhone was better because it had less memory. ;-)
Why the silly name, it's an iPhone, not a cryphone, I have never reffered to the Samsung as anything other than an S2.

Perhaps technically the Samsung is a better phone, I'm not qualified to comment, but if a user is simply not comfortable using it, doesn't like the os, and it's battery life is not conducive to a days usage, (granted it may have been faulty, I'll never know as it's now sold), then the user will revert to what they know, like and do feel comfortable with.

I'm not suggesting either phone is better than the other, just that I've used iPhones constantly for more than 2 years without any issues, and I couldn't cope with the S2 for more than a few days, so by my stating each to their own it was not me feeling I had no other argument, I simply don't want an argument about a phone
I may well re-visit Android phones in the future, never say never, but for now I'll stick to what I like, as I suspect you will also do.

Be well User

i find the copyright infringment cases all rather silly, but then apple do have a history of claiming "MINE!" at every opportunity, i mean i may be wrong they may have half inched some apple tech, either way the galaxy is an excellent phone and they're outselling iphones at the rate of knots (android that is)

i like the doctored pic apple put forth for the new ipad/tablet comparison, that or they got hold of a prototype.
we'll see how we go with sammy's i reckon they'll get round the injunction fast enough, they've got enough money to throw at it.

A phone? You mean you can actually use it to telephone other people? Good grief why has nobody told me about this

You use the Skype app I am led to believe ;)

A very stupid comparison maybe. I was told that its the Samsung Galaxy and not the S2 that compares to the iPhone.

Its supposedly to do with the S2 having a completely different device due to its oversize tablet like screen.

I spent ages deliberating between iPhone and Android. No regrets with my Samsung Galaxy S2. Superb. Best android phone out now.

The Galaxy is the s2. The screen is only an inch bigger diagonally than the iPhone, so someone has been feeding you rubbish. It sounds like another iSheep excuse.

I'm not joining in this but want to point out that the S2 is just one of the Galaxy range of phones. There's the Ace, the original Galaxy S, the Galaxy Pro and the Galaxy Fit

The Galaxy S is closer. That extra inch must make the S2 screen massive.Just try to compare a 21" TV to a 26" TV. The 21" is absolutely tiny in comparison.
