Better than the old dial up of 35 kbps I had years ago.

I remember those days, when it would take 5 minutes to download pictures. Frustrating, in more ways than one.

I am on a up to 10 meg service at home and managed 10.10 on the wireless after i changed the wireless channel. its the same on the wired connection 10.10. before i changed the chanel it was a paltry 1.4 !!

Could just be that it's mid evening. Mine's 2.75Mb/s at the moment, usually about 3.75 limited by the connection to the exchange.

I switched from Virgin to Sky for everything, and got Broadband free for 12 months so can't really complain. Plus Virgin had been traffic shaping my account I would be on 3-8mb/s at peak even YT would buffer.

Not done this speed test but uploading stuff to my cloud storage using Plusnet sees an average upload speed of 10-30KB/s. Yes folks Kb, not Mb. Plusnet are great *ironic face*

Just asked Josh my I.T. expert to check my speed and he told me he could ride faster to any where and back than me. He's six!
