Why the hell are you still up at this time of night?
I think of it as only being early evening!

In winter I effectively hibernate so I go out of sync with the outside world.

I usually potter about on the computer until about 02:00 and then put the TV on. I watch that until 03:00-04:00 then go to bed and tackle a cryptic crossword and play a few puzzle games before going to sleep at 04:00-05:00.

If I don't have to get up for anything then I would wake up at 10:00-11:00.

I don't have a job to worry about at my age (69) and nobody in my life to get up to spend time with so until we have long sunny days to tempt me out on multi-hour scenic bike rides this is my routine.

What's your excuse?

Am sitting by the fire in the company of my cat and working on some writing. More specifically, navigating my introverted main character through a party scene.

This is my "me time" after all is done for the day, and it tends to be when I'm most productive as far as writing is concerned, mainly because I don't have much in the way of distractions.

The TV is off now (04:00) so a quick game of Spider Solitaire and a cryptic crossword to check that my brain is still working, then 6 hours sleep and start again! :hello:

Morning all. Am I the 1st sensible one on the Saturday thread? Bed by 10.30 up at 6.15?
Nice and frosty day here. Off to Oxford to collect lad for Easter hols. It'll be nice to have him back.
Wife driving as still incapacitated. Maybe chance of a snooze? Thermos of decent coffee being made.
Laters.

6am today, but it varies. Bed usually by 10pm, Making no claims about ‘sensible’.

Meh. 00:30 to 06:45. 6 hours is fine, 7 normal (so 11:45)* and 8 hour sleep is a lie in. For me.

*This will get earlier along with the sunrise. Being out before 07:00 on quiet roads bathed in warm sunshine is bliss. Back for an afternoon BBQ.
