Snowing and settling here...wtf

-2 on my TT this morning and my fingers were like ice at the end, despite using thermal gloves. Some of the competitors were in shorts/short-sleeve jersey plus no gloves

I stopped mid-ride and took off my autumn/spring gloves as my hand were getting hot, but I put the winter gloves that had been over them back on! Of late (down south) its been not too bad when the sun gets out, but bitter in the shade and and a very icy wind.

Yep - not often you get snow in Surrey. Mrs L is supposed to be having tea with a friend in the garden at 10am.
I guess the children won't be playing on the gallows swing.

We had a fair bit on Saturday afternoon - melted once the sun came out, but the 'tops' still had loads on Sunday.

Had a walk in a snow downpour on Saturday. Woke to snow on the ground this morning. April showers?

Glad i kept my winter tyres on the car for a bit longer this year, nearly changed them 2wks ago when things warmed up but think i'll leave them on for a couple of more wks

There was nearly an inch of snow in the garden 3 hours ago.
It's all gone now - have just cycled to the station on dry roads under a perfect blue sky and brilliant sunshine.


Almost but not quite enough to cheer me up on my journey into work.
Still, I'm 5 hours later so it'll be a short day.
