Fixie: Caterham Superlight - no frills performance
Beone Race: Porsche GT3 RS - not quite no compromises but just wants to be raced
Planet X Stealth Pro: Radical SR 8 RX - no compromises performance
Felt Nine Race: Landrover Defender - it can do on-road but only starts to make sense on the lumpy stuff.
Baccetta Giro 26: Citroen DS - quirky, distinctive yet practical

Some kind of weird scandanavian sports car from the 1970's, created by a car company set up by some eccentric herring magnate that produced one model, only made 50, didn't sell well because despite being excellent it was a bit odd. And only had three gears.

Purchased and lovingly restored with new wheels and electrics by some idiot from the Midlands.

I think the closest the committee can get to your desired specification is the SAAB Sonett I prototype or maybe a very early (2-stroke) Sonett II.

I think it even (in prototype form) meets with your 3-gear requirement.

As to the green bicycle on your link, it is truly lovely to behold. I built one not unlike it, but with less love, care and attention to detail.

If I could work a computer, I'd put up a piccie of it.
