There is a single track bridge at Haslar in Gosport, and it is advisable to take the primary as there are often cyclists comingthe other way and a narrow central part.
One morning, I was in a bad mood when the muppet behind started tooting and ranting.
AS I was doing nothing wrong, I stopped the Trike, and checked that he was not being courteous and checked my lights, panniers etc. and shrugged my shoulders
Of course by this time lights have changed and traffic hes come up form the other side leaving my "friend" face to face with a bus and half a dozen cars.
Simply walk the trike past the obstruction he is now causing with a polite wave..... sorted!

Alan, I applaud your restraint. The individual you mention in your post used his car as a potential weapon. Had he hit you, the consequences could have proven fatal. I don't know how reporting the incident will fare with the boys in blue, but I would have been on the phone as soon as I'd got home.

I didn't report it in the end, it would basically end up as my word against his without any witnesses, I suppose the only other thing was if he had a history & been reported before. I decided to put it down to experience, stay away from that area & seriously think about a headcam, my concern is would a headcam aggregated the situation more?
